As usual the 4410 offers two channels, one entitled "Classic" that typifies the warm valve sound we have come to know and love whilst the other is "Modern" – an altogether more aggressive sound that has a harder high end frequency range but yet still packs lots of bass punch.

Starting with the Classic channel, the 3 band EQ has purposely been left as passive and is joined by a switch-able Mid-Voice control, the ECV83 valve pre-amplifier and a boost switch. Indeed these combinations interact perfectly to give the MB4410 its depth, richness and soft rounded edges that we have come to expect from valve amplification.

By contrast the Modern channel has 3 band EQ with a Parametric sweep-able midrange control and a Compressor with variable level adjustment. It is voiced to supply a harder, slightly metallic edge that has a little more attitude and which will undoubtedly energise the rhythm section.

This flagship model also has the ability to mix the channels either from the front panel of the amp or from the supplied two-way foot switch with the ability to balance each channels volume against the other, this therefore adds significant additional tonal variance.

The MB4410 also has an on-board limiter, an FX loop, XLR line out and the ability to expand the rig by adding more cabinets via the 2 x Speakon or twin jack inputs. It is however a hefty beast weighing in at 51Kg with the following dimensions 630 x 720 x 410 (mm).
